Extremely useful for genealogical research. The initial text discusses all manner of Latvian regulations on commerce and foreign trade. This is followed by an alphabetical section noting a panoply of goods and services. The main portion of the text features an alphabetical listing of 1,317 individual businesses in Latvia, with their addresses and phone numbers. The final section with its own pagination contains 74 pages of period advertisements (many illustrated) of Latvian businesses.
