Seven Photographs – The First Maccabiah Games, the Second Maccabiah Games and the Workers' Olympics in Prague
Seven photographs of the first two Maccabiah games and of the delegation of "HaPoel" to the Workers' Olympics in Prague. [1930s].
1-5. Five photographs of the first Maccabiah. Four of them are stamped on verso with the stamp of "R. Gross; Jaffa & Tel-Aviv" (presumably – the photographer Reuven Gross).
6. A photograph of the Polish delegation at the opening ceremony of the second Maccabiah. Stamped on verso with the stamp of "Photo Eden, 20 Lilienblum St." (the photographer Ephraim Erde).
7. A photograph of the delegation of "HaPoel" athletes at the unofficial games of the Workers' Olympics in Prague, 1934.
Divided postcard backs. One photograph is captioned in the plate and five are captioned in handwriting on verso.
Approx. 8.5X14 cm. Good condition. Minor blemishes.
Enclosed: a photograph of youth, wearing youth movement uniforms, marching at a stadium.
