Nine printed items of the Jewish communities of India – booklets and prayer leaves, a brochure issued by the Bombay Zionist Association, a booklet issued by the Jewish Agency for the seventh Independence Day of the State of Israel, and more. Bombay, Cochin and Calcutta, [ca. 1930s-1950s].
1. An advertising brochure for a dance given by the Bombay Zionist Association in aid of the Jewish National Fund, 1931. English.
2. The Order of Service of [Yehi Ratzon] read on both the New Year days according to the Custom of Sefardim Jews... with English translation by A. F. Morris (Minister of "Magen David" synagogue in Calcutta). Bombay: Simeon Jacob at Bombay Hebrew Publishing and Printing, 1935. Hebrew and English on facing pages.
3. A printed leaf, with the order of service of Yehi Ratzon for Rosh HaShana of the Calcutta community, with the eight "Simanim" it is customary to eat on Rosh HaShana.
4. The songs of the Jews of Cochin and Their Historical Significance, by A.I. Simon. Cochin: Pangal Press, 1947. English and Malayalam.
A photograph of the Paradesi Synagogue and the Mattancherry Palace of Cochin appear on the cover of the booklet. On the page after the title page, a handwritten signature, presumably of the author A.I. Simon, dated 6.1.1950.

Printed on the occasion of the first visit of Chakravarti Rajagopalachari to Bombay as the Governor of India (Chakravarti Rajagopalachari was the first Indian-born Governor-General of India and the last Governor-General of India before it became a Republic in 1950).

The booklet contains a printed version of the Scroll of Independence, a review of the history of Zionism, a description of the government in Israel, and more.
9. A "Shana Tovah" (Happy New Year") postcard with a photograph of Yosef Ya'akov Chai Chazan and Chacham Shalom Yosef Zina.
