Five science, medicine and nature books by Jewish authors from the Enlightenment period. Warsaw, Lvov and other places in East Europe, 19th century. Numerous illustrations.
1. Sefer Ru'ach Chaim, by Christoph Eilhelm Hoffland, translated by Moshe Mordechai Yovel. Printed by Matfustschen Buchdrukerey, Lvov, 1831. Two parts. Two leaves might be lacking.
2. Sefer Rofeh HaYeladim, by M. Studencki [Moshe ben Aharon Studencki]. Printed by Nathan Shriftgisser press, Warsaw, 1847. Hebrew and German in Hebrew characters.
3. Jedyos Haszyurym T. J. Geometrya, by Gabriel Yehudah Lichtenfeld. Printed by J. Rother press, Warsaw, 1856. Lacking seventeen plates with charts.
