A RARE AND IMPORTANT OLIVEWOOD THREE TIER PASSOVER COMPENDIUM
151. A RARE AND IMPORTANT OLIVEWOOD THREE TIER PASSOVER COMPENDIUM. Jerusalem, c. 1910. On three legs. The upper portion is carved with Holy Land scenes including: The Kotel, the Tomb of Samuel the Prophet, Yad Absalom, Tomb of Zechariah the prophet, the Temple Mount, Rachel's Tomb, Mount Zion, Tomb of the Patriarchs. Inscribed along the outer edge with the wording from Ve"hi Sheamda. Inner circle inlaid with tiny colored pieces of wood in a Jewish star Inscribed with the Biblical commandment to eat matzah and the order of the Seder. Further inscribed with abbreviation for "The Holy City May it Soon Be Rebuilt". 15" wide and 7" tall. Excellent, near perfect condition.
