Sefer Ot Berit al Hilchot Mila, Yoledet, Gerim and Pidyon Bechor by Rabbi Shimon Kunitz. Pressburg 1850. Single, rare edition.
On the title page, the handwritten signature of Rabbi Dov Arye Ritter Av Beit Din of Rotterdam. On page 35, a handwritten gloss by him.
Rabbi Shimon Kunitz served as Av Beit Din of Cifer, near Pressburg. The book was approbated by the greatest rabbis of Hungary, who praise the genius of its author.
Rabbo Dov Arye Ritter (1855-1936), the rabbi of Rotterdam, Holland, was one of the greatest rabbis of Holland. He discovered the forgery of "Yerushalmi Kodashim" and was the first to publish articles and letters on the subject.
