Israeli Gold Medal, 1976 Chess Olympiad
An Israeli gold medal given to participants in the 1976 Chess Olympiad in Haifa, The Israel Government Coins and Medals Corp. Designed by the Shamir brothers. A limited edition of 20 copies, numbered 18. Given to Alla Kushnir. Very rare! Diameter: 3.5 cm. Weight: 30 grams. In the original case. In the center of the medal the symbol of the international chess competition, decorated with the inscription "Women VII, Men XXII, Israel, 1976" (in Hebrew and English). On the lower part - the Latin moto of the World Chess Federation - "Gens Una Sumus" (we are all one family). On verso - a geometric design of a chess board with chess pieces on it.
