GOSSETT JR. LOUIS: (1936- ) American actor, Academy Award winner for Best Supporting Actor in 1982 for his role as Marine Gunnery Sergeant Emil Foley in An Officer and a Gentleman. Signed 8 x 10 photograph of the actor in a head and shoulders pose. Signed in blue ink with his name alone across a light area at the base of the image. A pencil annotation in the hand of a collector to the verso indicates that the signature was obtained in person at the Plaza Hotel (New York) on 10th November 1977.
