RUSSELL HAROLD: (1914-2002) Canadian-American actor, Academy Award winner for Best Supporting Actor in 1946 for his role as Homer Parrish in The Best Years of Our Lives. Vintage signed 8 x 10 photograph of Russell standing in a three-quarter length pose wearing an American Veterans (AMVETS) hat upon his head and holding a newspaper with the headline Amvets Program Acclaimed As Top Notch in Nation in his prosthetic hooks following the loss of both of his hands during World War II. Signed by Russell in bold black fountain pen ink across a light area of the image. VG
