RUSSIAN PORCELAIN FIGURE
Popov Factory, 19th cenury.
Glazed porcelain figurine depicting a seated man wearing traditional Russian belted kaftan shirt and blue trousers, making a bast shoe.
Marked with a blue underglaze and an impressed marks.
Reference: The figurine was published in the catalog "Russia. Private factories. Porcelain sculptures, " by D.N. Sviridov, Samizdat, St. Petersburg, 2017, pp. 296-297.
