AN 1850S SAXON PERCUSSION PISTOL W/HUSSAR REGT MARKS
A fine cavalry percussion pistol of the mid 19th century, with various stamped and engraved marks, including a 'KEF' under the spring of the lock mechanism, and the regimental mark 'II.U.R.b.140'. The nipple is surrounded by a hinged cover which acts as a safety for the gun, particularly useful when on horseback.
