A PAIR OF GILT-RUBY GLASS LIDDED DECANTERS, CA. 1850
A pair of Bohemian gilt ruby glass decanters was a type of luxury glassware that originated from the Bohemian region (now part of the Czech Republic), which has a long history of glassmaking. The term "ruby glass" refers to the rich red color of the glass, this pair of decanters is adorned with gold decoration, applied as delicate patterns.
