AN ITALIAN STILETTO DAGGER, 18TH/19TH CENTURY
An Italian stiletto in the Renaissance style with a characteristic long, slender, pointed, triangular blade. The blade is unsharpened at the edges as is usual for stilettos. The handle and guard are both slender with many lobed sections that act as both decoration and a way to make gripping the dagger easier.
Italy, 18th/19th century.
L: 9 3/4 in., (24.8 cm.)
Condition: Near perfect condition, with expected signs of wear due to age.
