A RUSSIAN SILVER AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL KOVSH BY MARIA SEMENOVA
Maria Semenova, Moscow, 1899-1908.
Russian silver-gilt and polychrome cloisonne enamel kovsh. The kovsh has a rounded body with a hooked handle and a pronounced front. Decorated with raised Neo-Russian floral patterns in polychrome cloisonne enamel.
Hallmarks: 84 Russian silver standard, kokoshnik mark, maker's mark 'MC' in Cyrillic.
Circa: 1899 - 1908.
