A RUSSIAN SIVER AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL KOVSH, CIRCA 1900S
Moscow, 1899-1908.
Miniature Russian silver-gilt enamel kovsh of traditional form, with a raised prow and a shaped hook handle, enameled with varicolored scrolling foliage on the gilt-stippled ground, the edges highlighted with a frieze of white enameled pellets. Hallmarks: illegible maker’s mark, 84 Russian silver standard.

Condition: A small kovsh is in very good condition, with a few very small scratches and gilding losses to the interior and bottom. The enamel is impeccable.
