A RUSSIAN SILVER AND ENAMEL TEA GLASS HOLDER. MOSCOW, 1908-1917
Dmitry Nikolaev, Moscow, 1908-1917
Russian silver-gilt tea glass holder, of a circular form with an upright scroll handle and an intricately shaped top rim, raised on a spreading foot. Stylized floral ornaments in vary-colored cloisonne enamel within borders of blue enamel pellets, the handle enameled in similar complimentary design.
Hallmarks: maker's mark 'DN' in Cyrillic, 84 Russian silver standard, kokoshnik mark.
Weight: 8.4 oz., (238 g.)
H: 4 5/16 in., (11 cm.)
Condition: The glass holder is in very good condition. Light rubbing to gilding and minor scratching on the bottom associated with age.
