A RUSSIAN PORCELAIN CUP AND SAUCER BY POPOV, 19TH CENTURY.
Popov Porcelain Factory, Moscow, mid 19th century.
Russian porcelain cup and saucer. The cup is decorated with a scene depicting two fishermen on the river bank and the saucer is painted with two country scenes in cartouches.
Both pieces marked AP, 7, incised number 27. The saucer has a Sotheby's auction label.
Cup: H: 4 in., (10 cm.)
Sauser: D:6 in., (15 cm.)
Condition: Some losses to gilding, otherwise good condition.
