A TUNISIAN NIQUELET RIFLE, 18TH CEN.
Coral-inlaid firearms were a specialty of Algerian and Tunisian gunmakers in the eighteenth century. Shaped coral plaques were fitted into a silver framework (missing here) to create a colorful decoration.
