A WWII NAZI GERMANY 2ND MODEL LUFTWAFFE OFFICER'S DAGGER
2nd Model Luftwaffe Officer dagger. Bright steel blade with etched maker's mark Luftwaffe parade dagger E&F Hörster Solingen. Silvered fittings with eagle crossguard, oak leaf decorated ferrule, and wreathed swastika pommel with wire-wrapped white celluloid grip. Pebbled scabbard with oak leaf bands. Very good condition overall.
The 2nd Model Luftwaffe dagger was adopted for wear by officers and certain high-ranking NCO's in 1937.
