A BRASS-MOUNTED DHAL SHIELD, SOUTH ASIA, 19TH CEN.
Made of tin-plated metal decorated with cut-brass hammered overlay, four medallions featuring a bird. Large central lotus-shaped dome boss and four smaller flower-shaped domed bosses.
South Asia, 19th century or earlier.
D: 11 1/2 in., (29 cm.)
Condition: Good with minor dents.
