Alexander Grigorievich Tyshler (Russian, Soviet, 1898 - 1980), ink on paper drawing depicting a noble man with a sword on the background of a stone fortress. signed in Cyrillic and dated "ATyshler '67" on the lower right. Provenance: Kodner Galleries Inc. May 31, 2007, lot 170.Alexander Tyshler was a Russian modernist painter and graphic artist, in particular, notable as a stage designer.
Dimensions: 16 1/2 x 11 1/2 in., (42 x 29 cm.)
Condition: Good, no apparent signs of restoration.
