A RARE RUSSIAN PORCELAIN LIDDED TEA CUP BY GARDNER, 19TH CEN.
A rare early Popov Porcelain Manufacture lidded cup and saucer, ca. 1830. Featuring a monogram with two Cyrillic letters "VCh" on the front. Painted with a dark-blue color with a gold floral motif.Markings: Verbilki Factory, blue Popov Manufacture mark underglaze.
Dimensions: H: 5 1/4 in., (13.5 cm.)
Condition: Very good with expected signs of wear. No chips or cracks. Gilding is partially lost.
