Fine and rare german engraved percussion shotgun. The barrels are made of Damascus steel. Underlever breech, barrel hook lock, double trigger, extractor, the bascule, the lockplates, the cocks, the trigger plate, the opening lever, and the trigger guard with very beautiful and extensive engraving and animal pieces, in some places of the weapon ornamentally inlaid gold wire, the barrel rail also inscribed with inlaid gold wire with: 'GUSTAV FÜKERT IN WEIPERT', fine walnut butt. Manufactured probably before 1892. A very rare item in excellent condition. Gustav E. Fükert was born on August 7, 1844. In 1908 he finally became a purveyor to the court. Gustav Fükert was a great weapons designer.
