A MICHAEL SUTTY PORCELAIN FIGURINE WELSH GUARDS OFFICER
Michael Sutty porcelain figurine - Welsh Guards Officer of Royal Regiment, made in England. This figure is part of the Household Division of the British Army Series. Michael Sutty (1937-2003), was a master porcelain sculptor who was widely admired for his fine porcelain Military figures. His spectacular historical subjects are highly coveted by collectors for their painstaking detail, from the gold trim on their uniform ribbons to their individualized facial expressions. Each figurine is accompanied by a Mike Sutty catalog, limited edition. The bottom is back-stamped with Sutty's signature and logo. Michael Sutty's figures are world-recognized works of art and are becoming more popular as time goes on. These really are superb investment pieces. Produced in Bone China in England during the 1980s in a limited edition of only 250 examples this is a very rare seldom-seen figure.
