AN INDO-PERSIAN STEEL BOX WITH GOLD INLAY, 19TH C.
This 19th-century Indo-Persian steel box is decorated with damascened gold floral ornaments in the famous koftgari technique. The box has an architectural form inspired by traditional Mughal-style pavilions.
Dimensions: H: 7 7/8 in., (20 cm.) D: 4 15/16 in., (12.5 cm.)
Condition: Very good.
