A MONGOLIAN KNIFE AND CHOPSTICKS TRAVEL SET, 19TH CEN.
A 19th-century Mongolian traveling set, part of a man's formal dress. Comprising a knife and chopsticks hand-carved of bone. A scabbard with brass fittings has two compartments for keeping a knife and a pair of chopsticks, the scabbard is decorated with a carved image of dragons flying in curved clouds. The knife's handle is decorated with carved floral motifs.
