AN INDIAN GOLD KOFTGARI TULWAR SWORD, 19TH C.
A massive Indian gilt tulwar with a wide multi-fullered blade decorated with gilt chiseled figures at the forte and toward its tip. The hilt of characteristic form is in perfect shape and reatins all of the original gold koftgari. 18th cen.
Dimensions: L: 36 1/4 in., (92 cm.)
Condition: Very good, with Damascus steel pattern clearly visible, the coftgari is well preserved, scabard missing
