A SILVER AND BOWENITE NOTE PAD HOLDER Russian, Moscow, 1908-1917, dated 1916 Set on stepped bowenite base. The hinged repoussé cover decorated with riding soldiers, foliage and engraved with initials and date ’21 VIII 1916′. Marked with assayer’s mark, 84 standard and master’s mark. The bowenite base restored. 22.3 x 15.5 cm.
