Edo Period Jade Eyes Eleven-Faced Guanyin Bodhisattva Standing Statue Guaranteed Authenticity Zushi Height about 58.5 cm Width about 23 x 15.5 cm, Guanyin statue only: height about 26 cm. As you can see, this is a standing statue of the eleven-headed Guanyin from the Muromachi to the early Edo period. Four-headed Guanyin standing statues are very rare, and the eleven-headed Guanyin standing statue from the Heian period (9th century), an important cultural property of Mii-dera Temple, is also a four-headed standing statue. It is said to be from the Muromachi to the early Edo period, but it may be older, so the specific period is up to everyone to decide. Considering its age, it is in very good condition.
