Rückwärtig mit Rundstempel sowie handschriftliche Nummerierung „JS57400 F. Sustris from private source Copenhagen Denmark“.
Südliche, in Ocker und Grüntönen wiedergegebene Landschaft mit zentralem Baum, unter welchem Apollo sitzt. Im Hintergrund eine mit Tälern versehene Landschaft mit sonnig beschienenen Architekturen. Die Kompoisition erinnert an das Fresko des Raffael in den Stanzen des Vatikan, mit der zentralen Darstellung des Apollo und der um ihn herum angeordneten Musen und weiteren Personen.
