WWII NAZI LUFTWAFFE SILVERWARE (3)
German WWII Luftwaffe fork, spoon, and knife set. Each utensil is marked with a Nazi Eagle emblem at the bottom of the handle. The knife is engraved on the blade with the text, 'Fine Steel Solingen Rust Free' and the manufacturer's mark 'H.M.Z.'. On the back of the handle of the knife, the manufacturer's mark says, 'H.M.Z. 37' and 'FL.U.V.' which stands for the Flight Barracks Administration. The fork has the manufacturer's head on the verso, 'W.J.S. 40' and 'FL.U.V.'. The spoon has 'H.M.Z. 41' and 'FL.U.V.' on the verso. Knife is dated 1937, the fork is dated 1940, and the spoon is dated 1941. Knife is 9.5 inches. Fork is 8 inches. Spoon is 6 inches. The patina has worn off on the utensils, the knife has minor dents in the blade.
