SWASTIKA LUCKY FLOUR BAG
Large flour shipping paper bag for the Lucky Flour brand emblazoned on the front with a large red swastika, 4.5 x 4.5 in., surrounded by a green and gold ring. Bag made for Federal Mill & Elevator Co., Inc., in Lockport, N.Y. The bag is pre-WWII, likely from the 1900s or 1910s, when the swastika was commonly used as a good luck symbol in America. 23.5 x 13.75 inches. Bag has folds and minor soiling on front.
