OLGA TSCHECHOWA
(1897-1980) Russian-German actress who starred in 140 films was accused of being a Russian spy. She was also rumored to have been pressured by Stalin and Beria to flirt with Adolf Hitler so they could gain information about Hitler and send in Soviet spies to kill him. Joseph Goebbels referred to her in his diaries as 'eine charmante Frau' ('a charming lady'). Black-and-white postcard with a smudged red ink inscription on the front margin. Postcard is not postally used. 5.5 x 3.5 inches.
