Pre-War Mauser ES 340B 22lr Single Shot Rifle in very good condition with some wear and remnants of some oxidation. The bore is very good! Excellent pre-WWII Mauser model ES340B Meisterschaft (Championship) target rifle, manufactured circa 1930's. This was a premier Mauser small bore target rifle, used by top German military and civilian shooters. The receiver marked with a small "Mauser Banner" logo, with "MAUSER-WERKE A.G.-OBERNDORF A.N." and "PATRONE-22 LONG RIFLE" stamped on the left side. The barrel has the prewar Crown/B, U and G" factory proofs. It has a fully adjustable military style, target rear sight calibrated, "30-200" feet, adjustable for windage and elevation with a fixed, inverted "v" style front sight. It has the Mauser factory grooved receiver designed for scope rings. Milled trigger guard with checkering on the bow to aid in off-hand shooting. Mauser factory walnut stock with a large circular Mauser banner cartouche on the right side with a black plastic Mauser Banner marked checkered buttplate. All matching serial numbers on the barrel, receiver and underside of the bolt. .C&R Eligible S/N:167437
