Rare Tabitha Toy / Travel Brass Sewing Machine
Hard to find 1886-1890 brass Tabitha travel/ toy handheld sewing machine; by the Manhattan Brass Co. in New York & Sold by Daniel Johnson & Son from the offices in New York and London. Limited original production in addition to the simple design being flawed because of the fact soft metals like brass do not have lasting performance; making the Tabitha an extremely rare sewing machine today. In good overall condition with some light wear & minor discoloration marks noted; indicative of age and use. Perfect addition to your collection. please use photos to judge condition and bid accordingly.
