Civil War Confederate Grey Wool Canteen & Cup
This canteen appears not to be a "bullseye" and is smooth under a very coarse grey (also known as Richmond Grey) wool with flecks of multiple colors from recycled material. The body of canteen has couple of minor dents which you can only feel from touch because of the thickness on the wool. Spout is unmarked. The cork stopper has some crumbling and doesn't sit tight in spout. The cotton shoulder strap is a cream/tan color and shows wear and age. The tin drinking cup is in good condition with some dings. wear and age. Small initials "R.K." are scratched into the bottom.
