We're calling it Rocktober, however we have over a century's worth of musical instruments and phonographs and stereos - something for everyone.
Most of the phonographs come from the collection of Wisconsin collector RUSS NERY.
There are project guitars - both acoustic and electric and many highlights: A rare and other Epiphones, a 1963 Gretsch Double anniversary, a rare 1978 Fender Music Master Electric!
If you're into the vintage sound, we've got many amps - Fender, Gibson, Peavy and many more!
This auction also includes many items from the estate of PAUL AND BARBARA WERTICO, world renowned, seven-time Grammy Award winner Paul Wertico! Hailed by the press as "one of the most versatile and musical drummers in music today, " Paul Wertico gained worldwide recognition as a member of the Pat Metheny Group from 1983 to 2001. During his tenure, Wertico played on ten recordings and four videos and collaborated with David Bowie on the hit song “This Is Not America” for the soundtrack of the acclaimed film The Falcon and the Snowman. He is a seven-time Grammy Award winner and has topped magazine polls and earned several gold records. Among the musicians Paul has played with are Eddie Harris, Lee Konitz, Dave Liebman, Sam Rivers, Bob Mintzer, Terry Gibbs, Buddy DeFranco, Roscoe Mitchell, Evan Parker, Jay McShann, Herbie Mann, Randy Brecker, Jerry Goodman, Ramsey Lewis, David Bowie, Charlie Haden, George Coleman, Diane Schuur, Nelson Riddle, Sonny Fortune, Ken Nordine, Tierney Sutton, and many others. Wertico was a member of the Larry Coryell Power Trio until Coryell's death in 2017.
Paul's wife Barbara Unger Wertico was a Composer and Keyboardist who performed live with The Buckinghams in the early 1980s and later worked as a soloist. In 1993, Barb toured with renowned jazz guitarist Pat Metheny throughout Europe, Israel, South America and the U.S., playing rhythm guitar, keyboards, percussion and vocals on Metheny's "Secret Story" tour. Barb also has co-written music with bassist Bill Syniar and Jim Peterik (leader of the famed bands, The Ides of March and Survivor). Their initial effort, entitled "Under the Spell", appeared on The Doobie Brothers' 1991 CD, Brotherhood. Barb’s most recent composition, “Love Can Conquer Hate”, was selected as “Artist’s Pick” on Deepak Chopra’s Spotify playlist in January 2021.  See lots with 'From the Estate of Paul and Barbara Wertico'!
