**No Shipping - Pick Up or Third Party Transport Only** 1957 fuel injected Corvette Vin # E57S106007. This car was ordered as a lightweight, Race Special with Rochester Fuel Injection, Radio Delete, Heater Delete, 4 Speed transmission and equipped with the 8000-rpm tachometer. These were a highly limited run. The motor is a 283 cu in providing 310 horsepower and 302 lbs. of torque. First photographed pulling a wheelie at Lions Drag Strip, Long Beach, CA in 1958 and was raced until the 1970s. She was then converted into a road racer and given a Sebring nose and removing the headlights for aerodynamics. Art Redmond of Seattle raced her from 2001 through 2008. A banner year in 2007 winning not only the prestigious Rolex Trophy at Laguna Seca, but also the Portland Historic and and the Vineyard at Infineon Raceway. George Scott bought her in 2009, sold her in 2012 and rebought her in 2015. Tom Ellis of Thomas Vintage Motors in Boulder restored her. She was toured in the Colorado Grand in 2016 and raced in Europe in 2017. Perfect addition to your collection.
