*NO SHIPPING! - PICKUP OR THIRD PARTY TRANSPORT ONLY*This handsome machine in its rich brown mahogany cabinet with its impressive lion heads has been stripped and refinished. There is evidence of some veneer repairs near the top and bottom of the lower cabinet doors. The lower cabinet doors open to record and disc storage compartments. There is some missing and rippling veneer on the bottom board of the compartment. The small accessory drawer normally located in the lower left hand corner of the storage compartment is missing. There is veneer damage on the back side of the top cover. It is cracked and rippled. See photos. The skirt at the very bottom of the cabinet has some missing veneer in front. Several of the legs are a bit loose as well. This unique mechanism is both a 15-1/2 " Regina Disc Music Box and a Phonograph as well. The music box portion of this machine is 15-1/2 " , Regina double comb, short bed plate mechanism with a zither attachment. The combs appear to be in good condition with no broken tips or teeth. There is a small bit of rust on the combs. See photos. The music box winds, runs, starts and stops as it should, and sounds good. Also included is the original cast iron accessory turntable for playing records. Has its original Columbia marked reproducer and tone arm which are in fair condition with some blistering and peeling of the plating on the tone arm. See photos. Also included are 9 - 15-1/2" Regina music box discs. All in average condition. Has its original winding crank. Both the phonograph and music box portions of this machine run and play. Cabinet measures 22" W X 22" D X 50" T.
