WWII German NSKK EM Dagger- Early Schlieper Logo
This early NSSK dagger has rare Carl Schlieper "eye" logo. Blade is bright and much shows in/out wear. Tip is good. The nickel fitting are tight and crossguard has "Wm" mark for Westmark. The anodized scabbard has been period repainted and has much paint loss over time. The 4 scabbard screws show turning from the period repaint. Tip has not dents and all the wear through dagger matches and wood grip in very clean with no chips or cracks. Brown leather hanger shows much age and wear with clip marked RZM M5/8. You can tell this hanger has been on this dagger forever. This is one of the rarer makers of all SA and NSKK daggers with haunting logo.
