A SMALL BLACK STONE LAMASHTU AMULET.
Iron Age, 1200 - 900 BCE. 36.5 mm high. Depicting on the obv.: Lamashtu standing on a boat, suckling a puppy and a piglet, and on the rev.: a comb, the leg of an animal, a scorpion, a snake and a cuneiform monogram. In very good condition. Ex Shlomo Moussaieff coll., Herzliyah Pituah.
