Antique c1880 Album Block Quilt
Antique c1880 Album block quilt measuring 79x83''. Comprised of 36 blocks, 11x11'', set straight, 6x6. There is a 1.5'' scrappy print sashing and border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted there is a thin cotton batting and a brown cotton striped print reverse. The edge is finished with an applied brown print binding. Several fabrics appear to be earlier and are all cotton but for one wool plaid. Fabrics include early fugitive purple, madders, indigo and early chintz. In good condition with a few spots also, minor edge wear. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
