Join us for an amazing auction dedicated to vintage and antique quilts and related textiles. This will be the first of our auctions to include textiles from the Estate of Laura Fisher. New York based Laura Fisher, was a world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author. Her antique quilts were exhibited all over the globe, she made appearances with Martha Stewart, and was published in several magazines over the years. In offering these textiles for sale we hope to continue to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.

Vintage 9 Patch Checkerboard Quilt c 1950s, measuring 71x90. It is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted. Thick cotton batting and several plain cotton feedsacks as backing. The workmanship is primitive and folky. It is in fair condition with an overall dingy appearance, spots, and musty odor, and would benefit for a soaking once the several seams that have split have been repaired. This quilt was collected in NC. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate.
