Walter Simmons Hunt (1843-1901) Pastel on paper, signed lower left and measures 13.5 x 18 and 20 x 24 inches w/ frame. From a private massachsuetts collection. Artist was born on 13 January 1842 in Cranston, Providence, Rhode Island and died on 17 Mar 1901 in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Artist almost exclusively painted in pastels.
