Robert Shaw Wesson (1902-1967) Oil on canvas, signed lower right faintly "Robert Wesson" and inscribed on verso "Summer Valley, New Hampshire", grand piece by the artist measures 24 X 30 and 29.5 X 35 inches in original molded giltwood Wesson frame. A native of New England, he was born in Worcester, a graduate of Clark and Harvard Universities. His interpretation of New England scenes, especially those of the Vermont locale, has captured the fancy of art lovers throughout the past. He is a member of the Grand Central Galleries in New York, the North Shore Art Association, and has exhibited at the Vixceboxse Gallery In Cleveland, the Sharon Arts Center in New Hampshire, Clark University, and has given demonstrations of landscape painting for the Needham, Wellesley, Lynm, Lowell and Lexington Art Associations. He conducted classes at the Lexingtom Arts & Crafts Society:
