Guido Llinas (1923-2005) Watercolor on paper, dated 1989 Enero and signed bottom right "G.Llinas 1989", 25.5 x 19.5 inches. Piece is frame din custom frame and behind archival glass. Private Miami Gallerist Collection. A self-taught artist, Llinás specialized in painting and engraving. He was part of Los Once group who had its first exhibition in Havana in 1953. He established in Paris in the early 60s where was in touch with Galerie Denise René where he had the opportunity to meet Jesús Rafael Soto, Carlos Cruz Diez, Luis Tomasello and Julio Le Parc. Throughout her prolific career he exhibited at major museums and institutions worldwide such as, Grand Palais (Paris), Modern Art Museum (Liege, Belgium), Galeria Sudamericana (New York), Kunsthall (Malmo, Sweden), among others.
