Victor Hugo Vilhelm Qvistorff (1883 - 1953) Oil on Canvas, Signed, Measures (12 x 16 inches) w/frame ( 16 x 20 inches ) was active/lived in Denmark. Victor Qvistorff is known for Marine, sailing ship and seascape painting. Victor Hugo Vilhelm Qvistorff was a Danish marine and ship portrait painter. Like many marine painters he was an autodidact. Since at least 1924 he worked as a full time artist. He exhibited in New York, Paris and London, his works are in collections all over the world. He also received many commissions from Danish shipyards and shipping companies.
