Pacific Northwest Tribal Mask
A large finely carved Pacific Northwest tribal mask probably first quarter of the 20th century. Of typical form, the mask is carved from a large single piece off wood and then decorated with polychrome pigments in the image of a stylized bird. Probably made for sale/trade rather than tribal use. Measurements: approx. 18" long, 12" wide Condition: Light scratches due to age and some minor paint loss, but overall good.
