Hopi Pot Bearing Indian Villages Paper Label
A fine Hopi bowl dating from the first quarter of the 20th century. Unsigned but bearing the paper label "From the Hopi Villages" This is generally believed to be the paper label applied by the Fred Harvey Company to pottery retailed to early tourists to the southwest. Uncommon to see the labels today as they were often picked off or dissolved when washed. Measurement: 4" diameter Condition: Overall good.
