- Verdelite refers to green elbaite tourmaline that does not contain chromium, and it comes in varying shades of green.
- There are some really wonderful tourmalines that range from blue-green to dark green. They can be quite rare and much sought-after. (ICGA). Those that are free of inclusions are coveted by collectors.
